I'm Pilar Yanguas — contemporary visual artist.

PilarchoArt is my artistic universe. I'm Pilarcho Yanguas, a contemporary visual artist originally from Navarra and based in Barcelona.

My work focuses on contemporary female portraiture as an emotional territory: a space where strength, vulnerability, instinct and transformation coexist. I work from emotion, colour and intuition, giving a central place to the gaze and to the creative process as essential parts of my artistic language.

Through expressive faces, intense gazes and sensitive colour palettes, my paintings explore what often remains invisible: inner tension, memory, presence and emotional truth.

With a background in Advertising and Public Relations, Marketing and Commercial Direction, and Editorial and Advertising Illustration, I bring together visual storytelling, intuition and contemporary figurative painting.

Since 2012, I've developed my practice mainly through acrylic painting, portraiture and mixed visual languages. My work has been exhibited in Navarra, Madrid, Barcelona and Paris, consolidating a personal visual language rooted in identity, sensitivity and the power of the female gaze.

In 2026, I'm expanding my artistic path with new exhibitions and art fair opportunities in Italy, opening a new international stage focused on collectors, collaborations, patronage and contemporary art spaces.

PilarchoArt is not only a body of work. It is my long-term artistic project, built around presence, emotion and the transformative power of portraiture.
